...and it looks like he was taking it pretty seriously.



There was no way he was going to let me let go of him...life jacket or not. The other kids were squalling about jellyfish, so it kinda flipped him out too.



Having a rest in the cabin...he had a big day.

Happy Canada Day!

I volunteered at our community's Canada Day celebration and had the fun of being in charge of the games. Although there wasn't a huge turnout, the kids sure had a great time. Margaret Pippy arranged everything, and she did a bang-up job with only a few volunteers...I don't know how she managed to pull it off.

There was face painting. Sara did a great job...the kids loved it!




Races...


A "fishing" tank...Maggie had fun with this!


A flag-raising ceremony. Again, Maggie did a fantastic job singing Oh Canada.


Also, there were burgers and hot dogs (grilled to perfection by George)...and a huge cake.

I guess someone may have had a bit too much fun.
